your attention

She walks around the house
Like a ghost lurking about
May seem a bit scary but
She just wants your attention

She makes no sense most times
A disconnect when she does
But to anyone who’s willing to hear
She would love your attention

She carries a deep sadness with her
Surrounding her soul, in her eyes
She feels guilty that she’s so sad
Guilty that she needs your attention

If you could just give her a little bit
Maybe your time, a smidge of your heart
You could see her sparkle and shine
Once you give her your attention

No matter what you do

They’ll hate when you’re not yourself
They’ll hate when you’re any different
They’ll hate when you’re not trying enough
They’ll hate when you’re on the mend

They’ll hate you no matter what you do
They’re looking too hard from their glass castles
Waiting for you to do anything they wish to do
They’ll hate you no matter what you do

They’ll hate when you dream of finding love
They’ll hate when you want to be on your own
They’ll hate when you seem more strong, less meek
They’ll hate when you step out of your homes

They’ll hate you no matter what you do
They’re looking too hard from their glass castles
Waiting for you to do anything they wish to do
They’ll hate you no matter what you do

If it makes you makes you sleep at night
If it makes you feel a bit better too
You’re not the only one they hate
They can’t help it and neither can you

They’ll hate you no matter what you do
They’re looking too hard from their glass castles
Waiting for you to do anything they wish to do
They’ll hate you no matter what you do

Lovely Mess

Hello hello! This is my very first post, finally. It was too important to not post this. Hope whoever ends up reading this likes it. Loads of love!

Stumbling in the dark,
Leaving a squall in her wake
Waiting for the day to turn to night
So the reality can give way to nothingness
She wasn’t always broken
Her laugh could light up a hundred bulbs
She loved life and life loved her back
But something got in the way of their love story
She did not always give in this quickly
She had stood up to adversity with more ease
But her armor kept chipping away like old nail polish
Until she was standing in all her naked glory, unhinged
Slipping away like blindness
Slowly first and then all too sudden
No longer sure what is wrong with her
Just not sure about what is right either
She doesn’t know me anymore, hardly knows herself
I keep hoping for a fleeting moment
When she finally really sees me
And puts her arms around me
if only just one last time
Maybe not this life, maybe the next
I hope she comes back to me
I will look for her cracks and fix her up
I just really hope she come back to me
